When i was a teenager learning to write songs, Shane MacGowan helped shine a light for me. With The Pogues, he hotwired traditional irish music and made a visceral, fever dream world come alive, and it smacked me in the face with all the beauty and the horror of the world.
It's an immense honour to sing the songs of Shane MacGowan and the Pogues. And a bloody pleasure too!
Look forward to catching up for a sing and a a wild ride down memory lane.
