Event Info:
"Australian theatrical pop chanteuse launches her 'Wallflower' album at a live in-person concert and livestreaming event from the Civic Underground in Sydney. Amanda states 'film noir' as one of her main influences and the launch will be a multimedia spectacle featuring dramatic video imagery, her live band as well as a DJ to reproduce the cinematic electronic pop tunes.
She's released two albums and three EPs before 'Wallflower' with 2 of her singles appearing in the top 10 of the independent Aussie charts. Her music videos and live performances have graced Aussie television screens including 'MTV' and she has performed on stages throughout Europe and Australia including sell-out shows at the Sydney Opera House. She's performed twice at the ARIAs (Australian Music Awards) and alongside legendary artists like Powderfinger, Wendy Matthews and Richard Clapton.
"Here is a singer who sounds strong, confident, sassy, sexy and in control of everything. She takes you into that smoky club, complete with red velvet seats; she's up on that stage and you're hanging onto every word she sings." - Malcolm Carter, Pennyblack Music, Sweden.
'The songs have an atmosphere within them which I love. It's original and wonderfully crafted within the excellent performance and production. Sometimes it's an emotion, other times it's just a gut feeling, but without music like this I'd be a very lost soul. Thank you for making great original music.' - Dave Anger, MCR fm
"Easton is a distinguished artist in her own right (just listen to her All That I Need, a blues-tinged jazz-pop ballad, of the highest order, with a not-so-vaguely haunting Twin Peaks aesthetic)...She's a picture of sexy elegance, glamour and poise. More importantly, she has the seasoned maturity to really deliver, vocally." - Brad Sykes, 'Syke on Stage'
