TRASH SPRINGFIELD // LIZZIE JACK AND THE BEANSTALKS // THE BANCROFTS
Trash Springfield are a 3-piece band led by the front woman of the same name. Trash’s raw, honest, and sometimes confronting lyrics are balanced by her catchy riffs and unique baritone. After years of performing around Sydney as a soloist, she now has a band together and has recently headlined shows in Katoomba, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne in support of her recently released debut E.P.
Once described as "Courtney Barnett t-boning Joan Jett while they both sing Dolly Parton" Lizzie Jack and the Beanstalks are a four-piece from the Gong. The Beanstalks produce a hybrid of folk storytelling with garage rock, taking influence from Ruby Fields, Annie Hamilton, Waax, and Maddy Jane. They're anthemic, authentic and here to leave a lasting impression.
Forming in 2019, the four-piece ar not without accomplishment, steadily becoming one of the staple artists in Wollongong and Sydney. They have played alongside Gooch Palms, joined MID CITY on their EP tour, and in 2020 took out top spot in the University of Wollongong Band Comp, scoring a slot at the 2022 Yours & Owls Festival.
Frills, flamboyance and franticness are three words that perhaps best describe the insatiable post-glam rock outfit that is the Bancrofts. Together, brothers Byron and Hayden Davis, and longtime friend Luke Vella make up Australia's newest and most exciting rock and roll group. Inspired by the sounds of Queen, The Darkness and Gang of Youths, The Bancrofts might just be the best thing you haven't heard yet.
