THE DARK CLOUDS // THE DEAD SET // EVIL LOVE MULE // KONTRASTO // SUNKENFACE // THE LIMITED

Six of the best! Get yourself down to the Moshpit on April 15 as the Dark Clouds tear up the stage alongside The Dead Set, Evil Love Mule, Kontrasto, Sunkenface & The Limited. Local, original, rock and roll doesn't get much better than this!

Part Dachshund part Pit Bull, Wollongong rockers The Dark Clouds are a four to the floor Rock n’ Roll beast. Formed back in 2012 these rockhounds have a dogged determination to keep the music they love alive. Listing influences from The Celibate Rifles & Sonic's Rendezvous Band to Turbo Negro & Monster Magnet.

Whoever it was that said that rock n roll is dead... forgot to tell The Dead Set! Loud and proud! The Dead Set have been delivering their loud-as-hell, no-holds-barred brand of rock n' roll since 2015 and are looking to jab an adrenaline needle right into the heart of the Sydney rock scene! Balls to the wall riffs... thunderous drums... in-your-face bass...

Bass, Drums... and violin? That's right people! Evil Love Mule melt faces with their heavy, progressive tunes and kick ass violin solos! Be sure to check out their debut LP 'Mobius Trip' today!

Hey kids, do you like the heavy AF stoner psych rock music? Well you'll just love Kontrasto! Hailing from all over Sydney & based at Jungle Studios Leichhardt, they have since gone on to be a regular presence in the Sydney scene playing countless gigs at all of the usual venues (Frankie's, Duke etc) including a supporting spot on the recent Sasquatch (US) tour at The Vanguard plus tours to Canberra & Wollongong.

Sunkenface is the noisier, uglier alter-ego of Sydney band, Shinu Gnu. They take their simple sounding but subtlety complex arrangement of 90s flavoured noise pop / alt punk grunge to new levels in this rendition of the band. Expect more unexpected breakdowns and sharp u-turns in songs, more riffs packed in tight, more fast / slow dynamics, and more angst ridden, brattier lyrics than is appropriate for men of their age. They also sing about dogs sometimes.

The Limited are a pack of political pop-punk brats from Sydney, NSW. While usually armed with four chords, they might surprise you with a fifth if you're nice to them and give them snacks
