Mics are off this month as we let the music breath with an eclectic assortment of live producers, selected by Threatnique and Tatzumakiii.
Chaix: Chaix is a multi talented Electronic Music producer, from Toronto Canada. Chaix is a pillar in the Toronto Beat scene. His sounds explores a wide range of genres with ever present fundamentals of hiphop and electronic stylings
Little Archer: Little Archer, honed his craft on Japanese film and video game music, practicing on the piano for hours a day and occasionally trying to make beats on the school computers (he loved Madlib and Dilla). In 2019 he decided to commit himself fully to production. Bringing all the influences from his musical journey with him. His accomplishments on the piano, his ethnomusicological study of Japanese, Ethiopian, and Balinese traditional music in his last year of study at the Con’, his love of japanese film and anime.
Tatzumakiii: TatzumaKiii is known as the Beatsmith from Planet Namek. Although Born in Louisville, Kentucky he’s become a Sydney-sider for 10 + years. His brand of interstellar funk has been compared to the likes Kaytranada, Flying Lotus and Monte Booker.
Supaadry: Producer/Artist known for his spacey, orchestral, soulful boom bap, lo-fi hip hop production. originally from Sydney, Australian and coming from a Muslim Indonesian backgroud, Supaadry quickly discovered numerous sounds growing through his childhood.
Threatnique: Threatnique is a hybrid beat maker using a combination of classic samplers and additional composition using an array of vintage synths and keyboards. Threatnique has a style of classic hip hop with complex sampling techniques, as well as dipping into a modern producer, threat is also a commercial studio owner, audio engineer, crate digger and vinyl hoarder.
