MACHINE ON A BREAK // JESSEY NAPA // GAILLA

Machine on a Break is returning to stage with her full band on 28/05 to celebrate the release of her new single 'Kindly Step Aside.' Come and celebrate with the whole crew! The show will be both live and live streamed for those who can't make it to Newtown. Kindly Step Aside is a high energy coming of identity anthem introducing Machine on a Break's new found sound to the world.

A delicate bird in a fiery cage, Machine on a Break is equal parts fragile and fierce. Machine on a Break is a new heavy-pop project, shedding the light on the darkness inside MOAB’s mind. She is exploring the catharsis of songwriting throughout the brightest and darkest of times and hoping that her stories are helpful to more than just her. Machine has been privileged to have played at UBERfest, the Sydney Fringe Festival, Sofar Sounds Sydney and the Northern Beaches Music Festival, even setting out on her own tour in May 2018. After exploring her sound and finding herself, she is ready to show the world what really lies within.

Gailla devises magic, homemade folk-pop songs about climate, community, change & hope.

Jessey Napa is a singer-songwriter from Sydney. His sound mixes elements from modern indie-rock bands such as Kings of Leon & Catfish and the Bottlemen with the lyricism of the folk music he grew up on. His most recent single ‘Dixie’, a song about the power of music, gained interest from both Triple J and Australian community radio.
