Earshift Live: Phil Slater Quintet
The Phil Slater Quintet with Matt Keegan, Matt McMahon, Brett Hirst and Simon Barker. The quintet will perform new music from their recent recording The Dark Pattern. Since it’s release, the band has been nominated for the ARIA Award, the Australian Music Prize, the Australian Independent Recordings (AIR) Award, the APRA AMCOS Art Music Award, and voted ‘Best 10 of 2019’ by New York City Records.

Earshift Music Fest 2020 celebrates the diverse music making of artists from the Earshift community both in Sydney and across the world. This year’s festival features three Earshift Live events at the Old 505 Theatre, Newtown, Sydney, with Avgenicos Brothers ‘Reduction’, Jeremy Rose Quartet and Phil Slater Quintet, and four consecutive Earshift Online events every Sunday, 6:30pm AEST in October, with concerts from Rajiv Jayaweera (NYC), Elly Hoyt (London), Marty Holoubek (Tokyo), and Sam Anning/Kristin Berardi (Melb/Bris) + The Rest is Noise (Melb).
